    Date: June 14, 2019
    Event Description:
Pasco County FL - Brian E. Corley, Supervisor of Elections, Pasco County, announces participation with a program called "Ballot Scout", a tool which uses USPS scan data for voters to track the delivery of their vote-by-mail ballot through the United States Postal Service (USPS).  Pasco County will be first in the state to implement the program, and it will be in place for the upcoming June 18, 2019 Special General Election.

Using a link on www.pascovotes.com, voters will enter their information to view the status of their ballot as being mailed, in transit, or delivered.  Voters can also opt-in for receiving text or e-mail notifications of their ballot's progress.

"Voting by mail continues to grow in popularity due to the convenience of voting from home," said Supervisor Corley.  "By utilizing this innovative tool, voters are empowered to track the status of their vote-by-mail ballot."

Voting by mail requires no excuse and is available to any registered voter. Please note, however, that the June 18, 2019 Special General Election is only for electors who reside within House District 38 and the City of Port Richey.  Ballots can be requested on-line at www.pascovotes.com or by calling 800-851-8754.  Vote-by-mail ballots must be returned to the election's office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, June 18, 2019.  Vote-by-mail ballots may not be turned in at polling places on Election Day.
