    Event Description:
    DADE CITY, FL  ----  The Pasco County Purchasing Department is inviting all local vendors interested in doing business with the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to attend a Vendor Workshop Tuesday, May 14, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Pasco County Historic Courthouse, located at 37918 Meridian Ave., Dade City, Florida.  The workshop will be held in the Board of County Commissioners Board Room. 
     
    The workshop is designed to generate more local vendor participation and to help streamline the process for contractors and vendors who would like to bid on Pasco County BOCC projects, goods and services.  
     
    The Vendor Workshop will include information on the following topics:  
     
     Doing Business with Pasco County  Learn how the Purchasing Department, through local vendors, meets county needs 
     
     Local Vendor Preference Policy  Learn how Pasco County is leveling the competitive playing field for local businesses 
     
     RFP (Request for Proposal) & RSQ (Request for Statement of Qualifications)  Including the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) 
     
     Preparing/Submitting Bids & Proposals  Training on how to submit bids and proposals  Registering with BidNet Direct 
     
     Purchasing Staff Meet & Greet/Q&A
