Three private universities, as well as a public community college are located close to Zephyrhills. Public schools consisting of a public high school, a middle school and three elementary schools serve the youth of the community. Three private schools are also located here.

Institutions of Higher Learning
Zephyrhills residents, professionals and employers have access to education and training programs offered through a number of nearby colleges and universities. Campuses of the Pasco Hernando Community College in Dade City and the newest campus breaking ground in 2012 in Wiregrass offer vocational and professional training as well as post-secondary degrees. Saint Leo University offers four-year degree options both on-line and at its beautiful campus nestled in the rolling hills of Saint Leo just 20 minutes northwest of Zephyrhills. Saint Leo boasts the newest School of Business in Pasco County opening a state of the art high tech building on its campus in 2011.
